If you're looking to burn calories, and you're wondering why Hogwarts doesn't have a stairstepper, this tower is the reason. Enjoy your climb all the way up to the Astronomy and Divination classrooms, as levitation spells and brooms are not allowed as transportation, with all the accidents that have happened in the stairwell.

Sub-board: Divination Class

Not only is the Slytherin common room found here, but so is the Potions classroom, the tortur-I mean storage room, and the school caretaker's office. They say the ghost of the well-loved Mrs. Norris roams the office, scaring away each new caretaker that tries to replace her precious, long past master.

All meals, formal gatherings, meetings, and emergency lockdowns will be held in this huge room and its everchanging ceiling. Of course, you are welcome to spend your free time here as well, and let it be known that it is preferred that your owls deliver all your mail to this location as long as the large packages (like a Firebolt given to you by your outlaw godfather) do not knock down plates, platters, etc. At all meals, if you're eating in the Great Hall, you must sit at your house's table.

Only those granted permission by the site admins are allowed to have their characters come to this magical room that will become whatever you desire. After all, we can't have everybody knowing about this secret room, otherwise we might have a secret club meeting here that might *gasp* learn how to defend themselves from monsters using *another gasp* magic! Please refrain from littering anywhere in or near this particularly large lake that is on school grounds. We had an issue with the giant squid one year because someone dumped their trash in its home, and don't get the staff started on the mermaid incident. (what, you thought the fact that the Triwizard champion's loved ones being held hostage by the merpeople was planned?)

This is the Quidditch Pitch, a place where all quidditch matches and practices are held, as well as the flying classes. Though it is possible that the classes are moved elsewhere for certain lessons, those planning to do team Quidditch practice must report here and reserve a time slot accordingly. (don't want another 'new Slytherin seeker practice' fiasco, as the slugs produced from that incident nearly destroyed the grass)

Do not come to this dangerous forest full of fog, centaurs, giants, and other strange beasts. (not the Dark Lord, we checked) Only those with special punishment, in Care of Magical Creatures class, or otherwise sent with specific orders from the Hogwarts staff may come here.

To make up for all the trees being mercilessly cut down everywhere else in the world, the Whomping Willow exists, striking back at everything unless you're fortunate and agile enough to know and reach the special knot on its trunk in time. The willow is not under watch at night as it is deemed to be its own guard system. (though you would think a certain dog, werewolf, deer and rat would've proved otherwise)
