Dances. That was right. There was going to be a dance this year. The administration had decided that the Yule Ball last year had had a positive impact on the staff and school, so they decided that this year they would start the tradition of having a yearly dance, a Yule Ball, just not always with students from more exotic schools like Durmstrang and Beauxbatons. "I can't believe I almost forgot about that! There is going to be a dance! Ok, now you've gotta give me a hint about this mystery guy, Lana," Yasu teased, trying not to make it a demand. if Lana was too uncomfortable with telling who the guy was, Yasu didn't want to be the one to push. She didn't want anyone to push an uneasy girl when it came to that special guy or girl.
For a brief moment her imagination flickered to Chaz, who was laughing with a couple of the other males in the class, paper quickly finished once Professor Roads had revealed the limited amount of time left. Her mind started to wander to what would happen if she went with him, laughed and acted crazy together and caused trouble for all the other couples who were being overly dramatic or refusing to get together with one another. He'd jokingly bow to her and offer her his hand, grinning and telling her all the weird things he knew because he was such a computer genius.
Yasu wondered if she would like any of the random tidbits he'd tell her.
Expertly pulling herself out of her split-second mental wandering, Yasu returned her bright green eyes to Lana to see if she would give the energetic blonde a hint as to who the special guy was.

Lana blushed, "Okay, Okay, I'll give you a hint." She leaned in on her elbows, "He's pretty cute, and smart. He's in Ravenclaw, and he's in our year."

"Okay, okay, I'll give you a hint," Lana said, leaning forward. Yasu found herself doing the same. Lana was actually going to spill! This was exciting. Then it dawned upon her that they were in the middle of a classroom. Hm... Yasu sincerely hoped Professor Roads didn't notice the silencing charm Yasu quickly cast wit her wand under the table so no one could hear their conversation. She liked to think she was rather good at charms.
"He's pretty cute and smart. He's a Ravenclaw, and he's in our year." For a moment Yasu sat there, processing this and going through the mental list she kept of all the males in Hogwarts.
"Okay, that does shorten the list. Except the smart thing. Are you aware of what Ravenclaw means, Miss Smart-Ravenclaw Pants?" Yasu pointed out with a laugh. Then something occurred to you. "Couldn't be Chaz could it?" she tried to tease Lana through a giggle, but she really couldn't control it, because she always felt that a guy Lana would well... not be Chaz.
Someone's moving their lips and there's no sound coming out, Hilda observed to herself from her desk, arching an eyebrow. Probably boys. Obnoxious. Speaking of boys... Hilda cast a lazy glance around the room before leaning her head back. She couldn't believe she was doing this.
Then she slid into her zone, mentally reaching out for the future's whispers and hints. Oh that's interesting...

"No, Yasu, it's not Chaz. I said I'd tell you after lunch and I'm sticking to it." Lana nodded her head with a sense of finality to emphasize that she would not change her previous commitment. Somalia sensed the conversation was over, "Now when does this class end, it seems like it's been going on forever."

Yasu had been about to answer after discreetly taking down her silent bubble charm, but Hilda beat her to it, as the bedraggled professor suddenly sat up straight in her chair and threw her hands in the air. "Hallelujah. Two seconds," she said in a monotone voice. Before anyone could ask what that was supposed to mean, the two seconds went by. One second. Two second.
And then the large clock was going of, signaling the end of Divination class and allowing the students to be free once more.

Somalia sat back in her chair, "Well, that answered my question." The girls started gathering up ink pots, quills, parchment, and books that they had left on the table. Morning class was over and now they had another class to get to.
